The scheme provides grants for small-scale development cooperation activities in poorer, remote and minority group areas, especially in the national poverty counties. Maximum funding provided for each project is A$100,000. Proposals must be submitted or supported by the local Department of Commerce (DOFCOM), and assessed by AusAID Beijing and MOFCOM.
