Emma Stone works as a volunteer in Solomon Islands with Kastom Gaden, an organisation that supports local farmers. For these farmers, many of whom are women, subsistence farming alone does not support them. The organisation's initiatives include seed production and distribution of local vegetable varieties, farmer networking opportunities and training in sustainable agriculture. Emma is developing marketing opportunities for rural farmers.
