Global Education website [external website]
AusAID's Global Education Program supports the professional development of primary and secondary teachers across Australia and funds the development and production of curriculum material for use in Australian schools.
The Global Education website provides curriculum material on important aid related issues such as globalisation, human rights, developing economies, HIV/AIDS, natural disasters, landmines, refugees and the environment.
Case studies, statistics, graphs and photos, with teachers' notes and student activities, are all available from the website, as are videos and posters*.
Teachers interested in professional development in global education should contact AusAID, telephone: (02) 6178 4969.
