Text of narrative - Sri Lanka after the tsunami
Voiceover with video footage of building wreckage, people in camps, aid distribution.
More than 30 thousand people perished in Sri Lanka in the tsunami.
Areas on the east coast were particularly hard hit with thousands left to take shelter in public buildings and temporary camps.
AusAID's 10 million dollar contribution included funding aid workers to bring food, water and other essentials to those in need.
It also enabled the many orphaned and traumatised children to be properly cared for.
