Security requirements

The duties of all positions in AusAID require employees to have a Commonwealth Government security clearance. Before commencing duty, the Agency will determine your suitability to access classified material, having regard to all relevant information. You will be required to provide detailed personal information as part of the security clearance process, prior to commencing work with AusAID. To obtain a security clearance, you must be an Australian citizen.

Medical requirements

Employees are required to attend a medical examination prior to commencing duty with AusAID. The examination is to determine the employee's capacity to undertake the inherent requirements of the duties.
