The following documents are available for students applying for Australian Leadership Awards Scholarships to commence 2009.

Applications open on 1st April 2008 and close 30th June 2008:

If you are unable to submit your ALAS application on-line you can download an application form. Your hard copy Application Form and all supporting documentation must be received by 30 June 2008.

ALAS Handbook

The Australian Leadership Awards Scholarships Handbook [PDF 355KB] is the main reference document for AusAID, institutions and ALA Scholarship students.

Candidates should read the Handbook carefully when deciding whether to apply for or accept an award.

Referees Report

You should use this template to request references from your three referees. Referees Reports must be completed and submitted by the application closing date, 30 June 2008.

AusAID Covering Letter to Institution

You should provide this letter to the institution at which you are seeking a placement. This will inform them that you are applying for an ALA scholarship and the timeframes for providing an unconditional offer of admission.
